Cornish Rex

The Cornish Rex is a unique breed of cats. One of their most distinct features is their curly, kitten-like coat. This unusual feature is the result of a single spontaneous mutation that happened amongst breeding cats in Cornwall, England back in 1950. Although the Cornish Rex inherits this curly fur from its parents, many specific variations have since developed within the breed and can even vary among individual cats.
